I am a quilter and Bruce's Sew Handy has been my lifeline to my sewings machines and to wonderful fabrics. The classes provided are interesting and valuable for all sewers. We have also purchased a marvelous vacuum cleaner from this store. Yes, it was more expensive than one from a department store but it is so very much better and easier to use. Any time you walk into the Bruce's Sew Handy, you are greeted warmly. They are not only vacuum and sewing machines sales, but Chuck repairs both, sells material, has classes, and is always ready with a smile. Kathy is an integral part of the business always there doing the stuff Chuck needs help with (Lots of stuff) and she is very efficient on the sewing and embroidery machines. They also employ Yvonne, who is ALWAYS sweet and helpful. She is also very talented at fixing sewing machines, greeting customers, and has the knowledge to run the store on her own when necessary.
Their customer service is so much better than anywhere else I have EVER shopped for a product. I have purchased 2 sewing machines and a surger from them and they teach you how to use them, instead of sending you out on your own to figure them out. It would be WELL worth your time to drop in on them at Bruce's Sew Handy in Coarsegold.

Rob, I want to pass along some accolades for one of your Pfaff dealers.
I was having some problems with the CV embroidery unit breaking thread. I decided to call Bruce's Sew Handy in
Coarsegold CA . I spoke with the owner, Chuck Bruce, and he suggested that I bring the unit in and he would take a look at it.
Since Coarsegold is an 8 hour round trip from my home in Soulsbyville, I decided to make it a mini vacation. I packed my 2 doggies and 3 kitties in my RV and we headed south to Bruce's.
Upon arrival at Bruce's, I was pleasantly suprised to find a beautiful store; clean, well stocked with the best in sewing inventory and a staff that is friendly, helpful and welcoming.
Chuck introduced himself and proceeded to sit down with me (and my 2 doggies and CV) in their big, bright wonderful training room and spend most of the day going through the machine, trying different combinations of stabilizers, threads and thread positions. Chuck knows the CV and embroidery and is willing and able to impart that knowledge to others.
By the end of the day it appeared that there was no problem with the CV that a good dose of operator education couldn't cure.
I cannot tell you how much I appreciate the time he spent with me and the personal attention I received. If you have a "Gold Star" award for excellence in customer service I highly recommend that you bestow that award on Bruce's Sew Handy and Chuck Bruce.
I now have a new Pfaff dealer for support and assistance for all my current and future Pfaffs. The 8 hour drive is worth it!

I love my machine (creative vision), it is the first time I have been so happy with my machine and that is a great accomplishment since I have owned every brand and the top of the lines and only the Pfaffs have been great with no complaints.
